Earlier, I took a series of photographs of our town's old hospital (which you can see here). At the time, I did not realize that it was slated for demolition.
Just last week, the local car wash was torn down. Although old and worn out around the edges, it was still open for business. I realized then that I needed to get some photos of our old car dealership, which got bought out and moved to a glitzy new showroom one town over. It is only a matter of time before it, too, gets the axe.
Since the dealership moved, it's been home to a flea market, which has also gone out of business. And every Halloween, someone turns it into a haunted house. As of right now, I don't think anyone has any plans for it.
